Agen Xin|Visual Artist
Agen Xin, born in China and based in New York, is a concept-driven, cross-disciplinary artist and visual constructor. A graduate of the School of Visual Arts (SVA), Agen was shaped not only by the classroom, but by the chaos of the street, the unpredictability of the set, and the restless noise of 3AM edits.
Agen’s creative practice spans photography, video, sneaker culture, and fashion design—working in the space where style fractures into subversion. Mental images are transformed into tangible narratives: behind the camera, Agen deconstructs fashion and reframes identity; in the studio, fragmented thoughts become emotionally charged visuals—whether through a reimagined sneaker as creative director, or a nonlinear experimental short film.
Drawing inspiration from the cracks between street culture and sensory tension, Agen explores fluid themes of identity, culture, and transformation through an experimental visual language. Collaborations with international fashion brands, media platforms, and magazines reflect a visual practice that doesn’t just please the eye but challenges the viewer.
Agen’s work doesn’t just express—it disrupts. The deepest power of an image is not what it says, but how it silently refuses to be ignored.
